Dóra Korányi is from Budapest, Hungary, and she has also lived in the United States, Israel, and Italy. A psychologist by training, she has long been involved in Jewish communal life through both family ties and professional work. In 2020, she and her husband Sebastián co-founded Qesher, the project behind this book.
